Early Beta Test: Edge of Cipirus

It looks like today is a busy day for BoA community. :)

The Demonslayer posted an early beta test call, for his Edge of Cipirus scenario. Here's a snipet:

Things to note: Yes, this has a real plot with real RPG action. It is for low/mid level parties, meaning that anything above 15 will be too easy. The custom graphics use is, sadly, minimal, though there are some. You should also note that you cannot kill Maura Rose-Petal, so don't try. Besides, she's a good-gal and is only there to make your life easier. Also, this is the first in either a dualogy or a trilogy (I haven't decided yet), so the plot may not make full sense to those who don't pay attention to every detail, ie, play it like it's meant to be played

I really don't care about your testing experience, so anyone who wants to try it can. All I'll need is...

Just go here to apply for the beta test.

Isaac's "3D Blades of Avernum Editor" was updated.

Isaac updated his 3D Blades of Avernum Editor. Here's his words:

"I have finished version 0.10b1!

- There is a new mode, which I call "realistic mode". It displays it just like in the game, as if you had a character in the center of the view. You access it using the same button (with a different picture) as the 2D zoom in/out button. Or, press OPTION-TAB (which also works in 2D to use the zoom in/out button).

- I finally worked out how to display those little bits of walls in the corner of two walls (it was very difficult). Let me know if you see anything wrong with it.

- Moving around the display should be significantly faster now (I think).

- And many minor bug fixes."

The editor is for Mac, so PC users stil have to wait. You can grab the editor here.
